About the Goddard Bible Club

The Bible Club at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center has been in existence since the early 1970s and was recognized as an official Goddard Club in 1984. The main emphasis of the Club is to bring believers and/or seekers together to learn more about our faith in Christ, and to get to know others at the Center. Meetings consist of presentations by guest speakers, videos, and semi-annual fellowships. The guest speakers include pastors, lecturers from local colleges, and leaders of various Christian outreach programs.

The subject of the meeting is posted on the Goddard Dateline on the Thursday prior to the meeting and Tuesday the day of the meeting. The meetings are open to anyone interested in attending. Please note that the Bible Club takes a summer recess from June through August, so that meetings run weekly from September through May.

There is a monthly newsletter that tells what will be happening at the club meetings along with announcements on items of interest in the Washington D.C. area. This information is distributed via the Bible Club distribution list. To be added to the distribution list or to ask any questions you may have, please contact one of the officers. The contact information for the officers is listed on the GEWA clubs page and on our Officers page.
