"For behold I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create, for behold I create Jerusalem a rejoicing and her people a joy."
Isaiah 65:17-18

The Bible Club at Goddard is open to all, so please invite guests and copy this newsletter for them. Please check the Dateline announcement for any last minute changes (these changes would most likely be in building or room, NOT day. If something looks strange in the Dateline, please check the newsletter or call one of the club officers). You are welcome to eat your lunch during the meeting. If you have any questions, please call/write Bill (Code 660.2/x6-7756), Warren (Code 540.5/x6-5183), Mike (Code 560/x6-6069), or Veronica (code 662/x6-2739)

Coming this month:

January 13th
Join us as we start the New Year with a video about the "Swiss Reformers": Ulrich Zwingli from Zurich and John Calvin from Geneva. These two men, who were contemporaries, were the cause of society being transformed and city governments changed to support the faith. The Genevan Academy had students from many nations including France, England, Germany, Scotland, and Switzerland.

January 20th
Today we hope to have a visit with Bernadette Smyth from Northern Ireland. She is a vivacious mother of 4 children and founded precious life in 1997. Bernie is a very popular and sought after speaker with a very inspirational message.

January 27th
Dr. R.C. Sproul of Ligonier Ministries in Orlando, FL and speaker on the radio program "Renewing Your Mind" will be with us on video to discuss "The role of the Holy Spirit in Regeneration". R.C. will cut through the confusion and go to the heart of Biblical teaching about the third person on the Trinity.

President's Notes:

The Club had its annual elections on December 9th with Dan Endres stepping out as temporary secretary (thanks so much for filling in Dan) and Veronica Ponce taking his position-Welcome Veronica! See the heading for changes. On the same day we had a great time of "fellowship", thanks to Doug Chinn for organizing it.

The GWCEA Convention will be held on January 30th and 31st, 2004. Advanced reservations only, last day to register is January 21st.

This is the start of a new year and the officers are looking for new ideas. If you have any tapes you would like to share or know of any one that would be available to speak, please let us know.

"Therefore, if any one is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has passed away, behold the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ has reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation."
II Corinthians 5:17-18.
