Coming this month:

This whole month we will be privileged to have Mr. Neil Martin give us a five-week seminar on "Biblical Finances".

Neil has been a Christian financial counselor for nearly 10 years. He began by specializing in investments and financial planning, but has since broadened his counseling to all areas of financial need. He has taught Biblical approaches to finances at churches and Christian organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including The Greater Washington Christian Education Association and Sandy Cove Ministries. He teaches on a wide variety of subjects dealing with stewardship, debt, budgeting, investing, and estate planning. He also does individual counseling with singles and couples, working with people across the U.S. and in Eastern Europe. Despite keeping busy ministering to Christians in the area of finances, Neil works full-time at the Goddard Space Flight Center as an instrument manager. He and his wife, Debbie, have four children and are members of Grace Baptist Church in Bowie, Maryland.

The topics will be:

March 2nd
Ownership, Tithing, and Giving: This seminar covers the principles that owners have rights, but stewards have responsibilities, and what our response should be as Christians.

March 9th
Debt- The Great American Nightmare: If you're in debt, learn what the Bible says about getting out and what the danger signs are before getting in.

March 16th
Budgeting By The Book: Learn how to be financially successful by spending less than you earn and doing it for the rest of your life, all from God's perspective.

March 23th
Money Matters for Parents and Kids: If you've got kids, learn how to teach them financial discipline as a means to greater spiritual discipline.

March 30th
Financial Stability Through The Seasons of Life: No matter what your age, learn biblical techniques for achieving financial stability for each stage of your life.

President's Notes:

These will be great sessions and they are coming at just the right time of year, so copy this newsletter and invite someone. Remember, it's been said "the topic you miss, is likely to be the one you need the most".

"On the first day of the week let each one of you put aside and save, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come".
I Corinthians 16:2
