"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting."
Micah 5:2

The Bible Club at Goddard is open to all, so please invite guests and copy this newsletter for them. Please check the Dateline announcement for any last minute changes (these changes would most likely be in building or room, NOT day. If something looks strange in the Dateline, please check the newsletter or call one of the club officers). You are welcome to eat your lunch during the meeting. If you have any questions, please call/write Bill (Code 660.2/x6-7756), Warren (Code 540.5/x6-5183), Mike (Code 560/x6-6069), or Veronica (code 662/x6-2739)

Coming this month:

December 7th
Fellowship and elections will be on the agenda today. Please contact Doug (4-6778) to sign-up for the food, etc. you can bring. This will also be the day for our annual election of Bible Club officers for the coming year. Contact Richard (6-8841) if you would like to volunteer for any of the positions. If there is someone you wish to nominate, please get their approval first.

December 14th
For decades, Charles Darwin's theory of evolution has been taught as fact. But now, scientific evidence shows that the "Ions of Evolution" are based on outdated research and faulty logic. Today's video states that students deserve to hear all the facts about evolution, not just "selective evidence" in favor of the theory. Discover that evidence and weigh it independently.

December 21st
After 40 years of intense study and world-wide ministry, Dr. Francis A. Schaffer completed his innovative analysis of the past: "How Should We Then Live". Dr. Schaffer has called the early 1960's the "Age of Personal Peace and Affluence", when people were bombarded from every side by modern man's humanistic thought. In the video we will see how humanistic thought leads to pessimism regarding a meaning for life and for fixed values.

December 28th

"And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet:

"But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
Are not the least among the rulers of Judah;
For out of you shall come a Ruler
Who will shepherd My people Israel."

Matthew 2:4-6
