"He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgressions of my people He was stricken."
Isaiah 53:7-8

Coming this month:

March 1st
Dr. Ken Curtis is President of Gateway Films and Christian History Institute. He states that our society no longer holds our past as a treasure and to some degree our contemporary world has forgotten where it came from. In the video series "The History of Christianity", he hopes to give us an overview of the background of "The Early Church".

March 8th
Pastor Chris McMillan will visit the club to talk about "Trials and Tribulations" in our lives. He will answer questions like: Is there a purpose in the pain that is so often a part of our spiritual journey? And the classic-Why do bad things happen to good people? Why don't you invite someone to join you?

March 15th
Today we will continue our look into "Medieval Christendom" or as Dr. Ken Curtis of the Christian History Institute has sub-titled: "The Quest for Order". This video deals with the time period from 430-1483, also known as the middle ages, when the church took on the "shape" of the Roman world as it grew to maturity. St. Jerome through Jan Hus were among many familiar names that will be surveyed for us.

March 22nd
Academy Award winning actor Charlton Heston will give us his dazzling exploration of the Last Supper, Gethsemane, the trial before Pilate, the crowds, the struggle, and the joyful triumphant ending. This video was made on location in the Holy Land and is a walk through history.

March 29th
"The Reformation: Division and Renewal Between Medieval and Modern Times" will be presented by Dr. Ken Curtis. This video starts in 1347 and covers the historical events up until the late 1500's.

"And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing. Then Pilate said to Him, "Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?" But He answered him not one word, so that the governor marveled greatly."

Matthew 27: 12-14
