Numbers 28:16 -17 (NASB): 'Then on the fourteenth day of the first month shall be the LORD'S Passover. On the fifteenth day of this month shall be a feast, unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days.'

The Bible Club at Goddard is open to all, so please invite guests and copy this newsletter for them.  We meet on Tuesdays at noon in Building 21, Room 242 unless otherwise indicated.  Please check the Dateline announcement for any last minute changes (these changes would most likely be in building or room, NOT day. If something looks strange in the Dateline, please check the newsletter or call one of the club officers). You are welcome to eat your lunch during the meeting. If you have any questions, please call/write Bill (Code 660.2/x6-7756), Brian (Code 200/x6-1110), Bill (Code 665/x6-6370), or Mike (Code 560/x6-6069).

Coming this month:

May 1st,
Join Dr. D. James Kennedy of Coral Ridge Ministries in Fort Lauderdale, FL as he interviews authors and experts in their fields, including Dr. Francis Collins, Lee Strobel, Ian Taylor, Dr. Jonathan Wells, Dr. Richard Weikart, and others to talk about "Charles Darwin's Social Impact".

May 8th,
Dr. John MacArthur, President of the Master's Theological Seminary and College, will give a timely message on the, "Roles of Fathers and Husbands". He presents clear Biblical principles to us and his experience of them as a father and grandfather. In the video, based upon Dr. MacArthur's book, "Successful Christian Parenting", he also gives us five key principles to consider concerning our treatment of wives and mothers.

May 15th,
Today we will have the pleasure of a "live" visit by Mr. Paul Adams. He will give a "sketch board" demonstration -- one of the ways that "Open Air Campaigners" uses to share the "Good News" with children and families. Paul will also fill us in on the training academy at the Washington Bible College, where you can earn three college credits. This will be held June 11 - 16, and anyone may enroll. Get the details at the meeting today or e-mail: paul.adams@oaci.org.

May 22nd,
Dr. Ravi Zacharias is President of his international ministries (head quartered in Atlanta, GA) and heard weekly on the radio program, "Let My People Think". He has written many books and speaks at conferences worldwide. Today's presentation, "The Uniqueness of Christ in World Religions", was part of a forum held in several major cities in the Republic of South Africa.

Note:  May 22nd will be our last meeting of the spring, and we break for the summer. Have a blessed summer season and we look forward to meeting together again in September.

Club President's notes: On Friday, May 4th, at 8 PM, the "Phil Bena Band" will give a benefit concert for the Bowie Pregnancy Center in the Miles Hall Chapel of the Washington Bible College.
