March 2008

"For Mordecai was powerful in the king’s house, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces as the man Mordecai grew more and more powerful….This was on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar, and on the fourteenth day they rested and made that a day of feasting and gladness….Therefore these days are called Purim, from the word Pur. Thus because of all that was written in this letter, and of what they had faced in this matter, and of what had happened to them" Esther 9: 4, 17, 26

The Bible Club at Goddard is open to all, so please invite guests and copy this newsletter for them. We meet on Tuesdays at noon in Building 21, Room 242 unless otherwise indicated. If something looks strange in the Dateline, please check the newsletter or call one of the following club officers). You are welcome to eat your lunch during the meeting. If you have any questions, please call/write Bill (Code 660.2/x6-7756), Drew (Code 546/x6-1639), Cristina (Code 501/x6-1115), or Bill (Code 323/x6-6370).
