GEWA
ART OF LIVING CLUB offers FREE guided meditation
every Monday and Wednesday at noon. Come
and feel more peaceful and less stressed; be more focused and energetic, no
training required! Our mental and emotional state affects those around us, and
by culturing a state of mental stillness we bring that peacefulness into our
environment. Meditation is the delicate art of doing nothing - letting go of
everything and being who you are. It gives your mind such a wonderful
rest. Come get a charge, and help make Goddard a better place to
work. The Monday session is in Bldg. 23, Rm. S300 at 12:00 noon and
Wednesday is in Bldg. 2, Rm. 8 at 12:00 noon. Please call Bill Hayden at 6-4267
if you have any questions. For new folks, we will be there 5 minutes early for
a quick orientation.
Goddard Bible Club: The Goddard Bible
Club meets on Tuesdays at noon in Building 21, Room 242. We have both speakers
and videos, details may be found in Dateline and at http://gewa.gsfc.nasa.gov/clubs/Bible/ You are welcome to eat your lunch during the
meeting. If you have any questions,
please call Bill 6-7756.

AD
GUIDELINES:
E-mail your electronic ad or item-of-interest to the following address: gewapost@majordomo.gsfc.nasa.gov
. The deadline for getting your ad in is
every Thursday by COB for the issue
to be electronically distributed at Noon that next day. Should the editor be on leave that Friday,
anticipate receipt at most 3 days later.
Any
ad or item may only run four (4) times in any six (6) month period; however, we
will now run the ads for two (2) consecutive weeks without them having
to be re-submitted (reduce e-mail traffic). If you want the ads to run
four times consecutively then each item must still be submitted on a weekly
basis (after the first two weeks) to run for the full four weeks. After the
four weeks it will be removed. There may be exceptions to this rule and
they will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis—feel free to contact the Editor
with any questions regarding your ad.
1. Ads run for 2 weeks at a time ONLY. For your ad to run continuously you must
resubmit your ad each week (after the second week).
2. Personal Ads should be limited in length but still adequately describe the
item(s) being sold. Editor’s discretion
will be used on the final length of the ad.
3.
If submitting your ad electronically DO NOT send as an attachment to your
e-mail. It must be included as part of the text of the e-mail message. Include
your name code and work phone number and make sure to specify in the subject
line of your e-mail message the category in which your ad should be placed i.e.
Items of Interest, Automotive (Year First), Miscellaneous for Sale, Wanted,
Child Care (Licensed Only), Rides/Carpools, Lost and Found, or Housing
(Location First).
4. Multiple ads must be prioritized in case we must place a limit of one ad per
person.
5. Personal service/commercial ads are not accepted.
6. Ads for weapons, alcohol, tobacco, or gambling are not accepted.
7. Ads for personal fund raising are not accepted.
8. Goddard telephone extensions are not to be placed in ads with the exception
of ads for Items of Interest Lost and Found and Rides/Carpools.
