Photography of Fran Stetina at Quiet Waters Park
Sixty of Fran's photos will be on display at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis from July 10 to August 24, 2019. A
professional photographer, Fran Stetina approaches photography with the curiosity of a scientist, the heart and
soul of an artist, and the sensitivity of a poet. The images on exhibit represent a lifetime of observing.

Andrew Wohl solo show
Andy has his first one-man show at "Art at Penn Place" from June 18 - July 14. There's an opening reception on Sunday July 1 from 3-5pm. You can $ show at 4600 Waverly Avenue, Garrett Park, MD.
Karen Smale awarded an honorable mention for her photo in Martinsburg exhibit
Karen's first photo in a juried exhibit won an honorable mention. She showed "Rain Again" at the Berkeley Arts Council's Art Works gallery in Martinsburg, WV. More info on the "Art and Earth" exhibit (April-May 2018): https://berkeleyartswv.org/2018/03/04/art-and-earth/
Fran Stetina: photo exhibit in Annapolis
Fran Stetina has a photo exhibition at Paul's Cafe in Annapolis, MD. 30 Images will be on display from 7 Dec 2016 until 5 Feb 2017. A reception will be held on Tuesday 13 Dec from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Paul's is located at 919 West Street in Annapolis.

Andrew Wohl has 4 images in "Plated" show and 7 at Busboys & Poets

Andy has four images accepted to "Plated" - an art show with a food theme sponsored by Washington Artworks. There's a reception
on Friday November 6 from 6-9pm in Rockville.

Andy has seven photos of his trip to Isla Mujeres Mexico on display thru January at Busboys and Poets at 5th and K.

Dave Schaible in Art Gone Wild! on Oct 17
Dave has some of his photos in the Art Gone Wild! event at Spoutwood Farm on October 17. They're having an art show in the woods, with drinks and dinner, and music. The event includes a silent auction. More info at the Art Gone Wild! invitation page.
Melissa Meyers and Karen Johnson join TIMS photographers for Explore@NASA Goddard Day
Melissa Meyers and Karen Johnson were asked to assist the TIMS branch (Trax Code 279) staff photographers in capturing Explore Goddard day. Their photos are among the hundreds of images that capture this event. Check out all the event photos on this Flickr page.
Andrew Wohl exhibits
Andy has two exhibits on now! One is at Paul's Homewood Cafe, 919 West Street, Annapolis MD and is sponsored by the Maryland Federation of Art. His other exhibit is at Touchstone Gallery and Andy is one of 38 guest artists part of their "MiniSolos" juried show.
Andy Wohl earns 3rd place ribbon for photo
Andy's photo, "Twine", won 3rd place at a juried art show held at the Penn Place Gallery in Garret Park Maryland. The show goes till May 2.

Andy Wohl: photo show in Gaithersburg Sep 19 - Nov 16
Andy Wohl will be having a photo show at the Bohrer Park Activity Center in Gaithersburg from September 19 through November 16. On exhibit will be 17 of his black and white photos (example below). Two other artists will also have their work exhibited, Mike Adler and Alan Kolnik.

"Andrew Wohl: Accidental Beauty" and begin "Not many people see beauty in metal ducting. After only four years

Bob Peters wins photo award
Bob Peter's photo won 1st place in Advanced Mono and also Best in Show (Color, Mono, Projected) in the October Silver
Spring Camera Club competition and it was the first mono print to be Best in Show. The topic was "Nature" and the
photo must not show any evidence of human activity.

Bert Pasquale wins Grand Imaging Award from PPA

Goddard Photo Club member Bert Pasquale (Code 551, Optics) received a Grand Imaging Award from the Professional Photographers Association in January 2013 at the Imaging USA convention in Atlanta. Selected from the 2012 International Image Competition's 5,000 entries, "Final Flight" of the STS-135 Space Shuttle Atlantis' launch received 3rd place in the Illustrative category. Bert is a member of the Maryland PPA chapter and credits years of PPA image competition critiques of his on-location environmental portraiture works to how he approached and treated his documenting of STS-135's final flight.
